Colour: Vibrant blue body and head, motley brown wings, green and blue display feathers.

Lifespan: 20 to 24 years

Sexing: Dimorphic. The male is larger and vibrantly coloured compared to the female.

Distribution: Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka

Habitat: Open forest areas.

Threats:    Secure in wild & common in captivity
